This concept according to IROLAGOS founder evolved from the fact that her mother and other women have always worn the iro and buba outfit for almost everyday living in varying fabrics. She says it is a staple for Nigerian women in past cultures.
When you think kimono, you think Japanese. So when you think Iro and Buba, we want you to think Nigerian : A versatile version of tradition. We are looking at having IROLAGOS all over big name stores in the West. We are looking at Toplooks, Harrods and Selfridges to stock our brand.

The retail interior of IROLAGOS is chic, well lit and clean formal grid layout, with minimalist design product display fixtures. From the brand banners, sliding aluminum windows, white paneled walls of black demarcations further reinforces the brand image with African origin. The floor layout is white tiled, giving the place ambience and neatness. The floor offers extensive shopper journey.
Movables metallic fixtures are of circular and straight forms having merchandise displayed to account for easy inventory.The wide central spacing between isles gives an attitude of convenience when browsing products without colliding with other shoppers. The mannequins at the front end gives a quick feel of the outfits to visitors.
All Iro and buba collections in the store cater for all cultural backgrounds in the country. From bright colours to neutrals, black and white, flowery fabrics and beaded Ankara and bling bodices to accommodate Monday to Friday wears as cocktails.
