This retail format explored the summer season to launch its collection via the new store. Claiming the upscale retail location at 5a Fanfuwa Street, Eti –Osa, Lagos. The prop up store revealed a 30 to 50% discounted rates on all sold stock from the launch date till the end of the month.
In terms of visual merchandising, the retail story of the store conveyed the brightness of summer with display of animated mannequins to help guide the customers’ eye movement and foot traffic towards the store location. Taking up the rule of 5, the window mannequins created an eye catcher for passers via downward pyramidal propped interspaced with flower pots.
Still in tune with Andrias World signage and signature store design, the very iconic category of floral prints has a metallic gold form to emphasize the store’s design trend for this 2016 summer. The mood was seen as relaxed attitude, bold, feminine, minimalist design, hot and chic. A second brand category of fast fashion the human faces embossed on fabrics possessing a comfortable feel.
Then this huge store is then transformed at POS wall. Accented with white and gold wallpaper of Victorian damask swirl; the feel of luxury and modern is subtly communicated. A blend of ambience, relaxation and coolness resonates from the rest of white treated walls and tiled flooring within this retail space. The customers’ journey begins at the entrance from the POS front end.Handbags were on display directly facing the shopper. The retail store carried a full female collection offering day and night choices as well as for special occasions. Designers brands of Handbags such Hermes, Michael Kors were carried by store. Double stand -aluminum fixtures carried bright complementary shades of clothing. Up on the walls were displayed casuals and office wears showing proper sight lines in-stores. The lighting installations for and on product display were well placed. The presence of over hung chandelier brought in a pop of home feel and taste. The customers had access to cushion sofa.
